Summer Reading List 2015

Over the past year I have recently started to read more and more, well at least try to anyway. I actually first got back into reading when I read The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I told myself that I need to read the book before I watched the film and I actually did! So I then went out and bought 2 more of his books, Looking For Alaska and Paper Towns - Paper Towns has also been made into a film which comes out later this year which I am super excited for! But anyway after that I decided to ask for some books for christmas, and I was lucky enough to get all 4 of them.  

- The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

- Divergent by Veronica Roth

- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

- Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella)

I have read the first 2 books (The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and Divergent) and I am currently reading Fangirl, but I have recently taken a break from it because of the exams. Which means soon, well after Monday, I will try to read again, before bed and in the morning. Well anyway, lets get down to what I actually plan of reading this summer.

- Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella)

- Love Tanya by Tanya Burr

- A Work In Progress by Connor Franta

- Insurgent By Veronica Roth

- The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes 

- The Pointless Book 2 by Alfie Deyes 

I love Reading and supporting YouTubers because I think it's amazing how far they have come. Anyway I recommend basically all these books.

Connor Franta Book Signing

As quite a lot of your probably know Connor came to the Uk to do book signings all over the place. He went to all the big cities like Liverpool and London but weirdly he came to Nottingham - no one famous comes to Nottingham for book signings.

It was such an amazing experience, I'd never met a YouTuber before then or even been to a book signing for that matter. I loved every second of it! Sadly you weren't allowed your phones out during which sucked and you couldn't take a selfie/photo with Connor but the majority of in the book signings in the UK are like that. But after all it didn't matter because I had a lovely little conversation with Connor about the UK and he hugged me. I loved the fact that he wasn't sat he behind a table, he was stood up next to it.

It was such an amazing day and if you ever have the chance to go to a book signing of someone you have followed for ages or have recently started following i recommend you go because it is so amazing. I have probably said that word so much but oh well.

Summer Playlist 2015

As you probably know I am a massive music fan, so I wanted to share my summer playlist with you. I have also recently created a spotify playlist if you want to maybe check it out - tshirt weather (the name is just the name of the first song I added and I couldn't be bothered to change it at the time)

Mcbusted - Mcbusted [album] - I first started listening to this album about 4/3 hours before I went to see them live in concert. Which sounds super weird but my friend and I had won 2 tickets to see them live from one of my favourite bands, New City Kings who also happened to be supporting them. I love their album and I have it on repeat most mornings when I'm getting ready for school.

All Time Low - Future Hearts [album] - I have waited so long for this album and I have to say that it was well worth the wait! It is such a brilliant album and I have to say it was one of my favourites All Time Low album.

Train -Hey Soul Sister 

Train - Drive By - After watching an episode from season 4 of 90210 with Train in i found my love for them again. They were performing at music festival in 90210 so whenever I hear these two songs I think of summer and festivals which are two of my favourite things! 

James Bay - Chaos And The Calm [album] - I have loved James bay ever since I hear him on Radio 1 in the live lounge in 2014 sometime, I can't remember when but it was before most people know who he was. James' album is completely different to Mcbusted and All Time Low's but that's why I love it! It is very calm and pretty and they make it a beautiful summer album.

Hole In My Heart -  Luke Friend  - The other week I went to see my favourite band The Vamps live and Luke Friend was supporting him. He was flipping amazing and I just think he has such a beautiful voice, and I have must say I have fallen in love with him and his song.
