Q&A 01 | School Subjects & Internet Friends?

Hey guys so this isn't actually the blog post I wanted to post this week but as my phone is being weird and won't download any app's I can't currently finish the post as it is mainly about photographs and thye are on my phone. So anyways, I hope you enjoy this and it's only a week early so it doesn't matter.
So earlier this week I ask you guys to to ask me some questions for a blog post on twitter using the hash tag '#AskMeganPhoebe'.

Let's get started then.

"Favourite beauty products at the moment"

I bet you guys are sick about me going on about my favourite beauty products but at the moment I am fricking loving The Nudes by Maybelline NY. It has so many lovely colours that work really well together, they also blend together really well and the colour lasts all day!

"What foundation do you suggest"

Well I have only ever had tried two, but I would definitely recommend them both. They are Rimmel London Lasting Finish and L'oreal Paris Infallible Matte.
Lasting Finish was actually the second foundation I tried as the first one I got was good but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But Lasting Finish was brilliant but as the weather started to get hotter it started to slide around on my face, especially on my nose where my glasses sit, maybe this wouldn't happen is I used a primer but sadly I don't but it is make up list!
On the other hand the Infallible Matte foundation is overall brilliant and is easy to apply. It isn't as think as Lasting Finish and I also don't have to clean my brush as often now, since I've started using this foundation.

"What is your opinion on Libby"

Well, Libby i love you lots and I find it funny how we met through twitter and the vamps not that long ago but you only live like 10 minutes away from me and know so many people that I know. This proves that we live in such a small world.

"What subject did you take at school"

Well i have just finished my GCSE's and I took 4 options, 2 for 2 years, 1 in year 10 and then 1 in year 11. I took Geography and Music for 2 years, I.C.T in year 10 and Food Technology in year 11. I really enjoyed them all but they were all difficult in different ways. Coursework was quick a big part in all of these subjects and that took up a lot of my time but they did count for quite a lot towards my overall grade. I also did the core subjects, Maths, English literature, English Language, R.E, ICT and Science. I did English Literature, R.E and B1, C1, P1 (core science) at the end of year 10 and the rest at the end of year 11.

"What do you love about internet friends"

I love the fact that we met because we like the same things or people, for example bands and you tubers. I have met so many people through The Vamps, Loveable Rogues and You Tubers.

This photo collage is extremely cringey but these are all the people who I have met through The Vamps and Loveable Rogues. Most of them do live quite close to me but it did take me a while to met them, but once you met them it's such an amazing feeling.
One thing that makes me sad about Internet friends is the distance though, but you can break the distance but then you miss them so much and have to wait ages to see them again.

"Favourite quote"

I have a couple of favourite quotes but my all time favourite has to be from School Of Rock,
No way. That is so punk rock.
However I do love lots of the quotes from this film as it happens to be one of my favourites, for example You're tacky and I hate you and Just worship the band.
But also I have a lot favourite quotes from Pretty little Liars, Peter Pan, Big Bang Theory and of course Pitch Perfect.

"What place would most like to travel to and why?"

I will have to say America just because I am obsessed with so many different things about it. I watch so many American TV shows, from Big Bang Theory, Lizard Lick Towing, How I Met Your Mother, Ace of Cakes and so many more.
If went I would want to go to so many different places and I would definitely want to visit lots of the place visited on Man vs Food.

"Where in the world would you like to visit and who with"

I would also love to go back to Australia as it is such a beautiful place and I just loved it so much. I would want to tour around all the place i missed last time but also go back to a few of them especially Sydney as there was this amazing pancake place in the rocks near where i was staying, I also have a few Internet friends from there and it would be fricking awesome to met them as i love their accents so much!
If i had the opportunity to go there again I would probably take my best friend with me or my mum because I know how much she wants to go back.

Summer : FOTD 2015

Recently I have been trying out a lot of new things as I have been off school for nearly 4 weeks now, meaning I can spend a lot more time on my make up in the morning. Which is nice because I can watch Netflix or Big Bang Theory in bed and not get up until like 9:30 or 10:00, which is still kinda early for some but I seem to be waking up at 7:00 more mornings, sadly.

Anyway, here is what I have been wearing on my face recently.

L'Oreal Paris : Infallible Matte
Rimmel London : Wake Me Up
Rimmel London : Clear Complexion

Soap & Glory : Lid Stuff
Maybelline New York : The Nudes
Maybelline New York : Master Precise
Rimmel London : Extra Super Lash

Maybelline New York : Baby Lips
Collection : Work The Colour
Tanya Burr - Lip Gloss

Some of these products were in my last blog post, my June Favourites so if you want a link to find them online just check that one out. But I did buy all of these from drugstores and the most expensive item was the Soap and Glory - Lid Stuff at £10, the rest are all under £10.

I hope you enjoyed this and I shall see you soon!

June Favourites

Hey guys, I was quite busy last week as I had my last exam at the beginning of the week and then prom on the friday so I wasn't able to post but I am doing hardly anything this week so I will try post twice this week.

Anyway it has been a while since I did a favourites and I have been loving some new things this month so I thought I'd share them with you all.

Beauty

My first favourite for this month is the L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24-hour matte foundation in the shade 10 porcelain. I was in need of a new foundation and quite a few youtubers I know had started using this one and said it was good and quite cheap so I thought I'd give it a go. It stays on my face longer then my old one did and doesn't rub off on my nose from where my glasses sit, which was a problem with my last one because of the heat.

Next is The Nudes by Maybelline New York, I need a new eye shadow palette and the Naked palette is too expensive for me at the moment as I am currently attempting to save my money. But this palette is brilliant and it shows you which colours go together well and they are all brilliant.

Next is two lip products, the first is the Rimmel London Colour Rush balm in a Red colour. I don't actually know what shade it is as it doesn't say for some reasons. I love it as the colour lasts for ages, as it says in the name and it's easy to apply. The other one is another Rimmel London lip product but it is the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Kate Lipstick in the shade Vintage Rose 101. I like it because it isn't too dark, too light or too bright, I think it's a perfect colour for summer especially when I'm going out with my friends.

Books, TV shows and Music

If you read my last blog post then you will know that I am currently reading Fan Girl. Its about 2 twin sisters who go of the university and well the title gives away what it is about, obviously.

The next thing I have been loving is Vampire Diaires. I have been watching it nonstop the past couple of weeks because I haven't been at school so I needed to find something new to watch and my friends had been going on and on about so I finally gave in and decided to watch it.
Vampire Diaries is so good and its hard to explain what it's about as I am also on about episode 19, season 3. But it is quite similar in certain ways to Twilight so if you like that then you will definitely like this tv series.

Finally I have been loving two new bands/groups this month, Fifth Harmony and Sheppard. I first heard of Fifth Harmony about a year ago when they supported Austin Mahone along with The Vamps and Shawn Mendes. At first I didn't like them but after they performed at the Summertime Ball the other weekend I seem to have fallen in love with them and their songs.
I stumbled across Sheppard by accident when I was listening to a playlist on spotify and their album has just been added to spotify and omg it is amazing. I don't know what I love about it but it's just perfect and different to what I have been listening to recently.

Other

My finally favourite for this month has to be my polaroid camera, yet again. But this month I have use it lots, as I officially left school and had my prom. So I have been able to use it more and more and seeing these photos makes me super happy because it reminds me of these amazing days. I love the fact that you click a button and then can't edit the image or have to go to a shop to print the images of to stick on my wall. I can also write on them so I know when they where.
Looking at these pictures makes me realise how happy I am to have such amazing friends also, that sounds soppy but since leaving school I have started to appreciate the people around me a lot more.

Thanks for reading and I shall see you soon
