My Beauty Wish List | Summer 2018

Over the past couple of months, and past hour, I have been creating a list of random things that I want to purchase but either can't bring myself too or don't have enough money too... The struggle of being a student is real.

I thought I would share them with you all of course and maybe give you a little inspiration for some new makeup for this summer. However, these are a little on the expensive end, as they are all 'high end' make up products but I adore all of them and have heard such good things about them so will eventually want to try some of them (at some point).

1. Tarte Shape Tape Matte Foundation

2. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

3. Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow palette

4. Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder

5. Tatelette in Bloom Clay Palette

6. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow

7. M575 Pro Blender Brush by Morphe

8. Velour Liquid Lipstick, Gemini by Jeffree Star Cosmetics

What is on your beauty wish list?

I would LOVE to try all of these but of course, that is never going to happen, but we can hope! I hope you enjoyed reading this and maybe give you some ideas for your own wishlist!

The Vamps Night and Day Tour | Sheffield

It is that time of year again... The Vamps tour! If you follow me on any social media, you will have seen that I went to see the Vamps last Saturday at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield with some of my 'internet' friends. I have supported the Vamps since summer 2013, and that is honestly crazy to think. I never thought I'd be a 'fangirl' for a band, let alone follow them for this long. This tour was my 7th time seeing them, which is a lot to some people but to other's, it isn't a lot.

Just like last year, I thought I'd share a few photographs from the night, and give the whole tour a quick review, as well as the long list of support acts and The Vamps setlist - which was changed after first night as everyone (including me), complained that 'shades on' wasn't on the setlist, so it was added to the Bournemouth show on Monday.

With every Vamps tour, there is a long list of support acts and this year was no different. However, this year was the first year without The Tide supporting them, as they have actually split up... This year the support acts included: New Hope Club, HRVY & Jacob Satorious. I have to say I was very surprised this year and enjoyed all of the support acts, yes you did hear me right! I enjoyed Jacob Satorious. His songs were very catchy and fun to dance too, he had a lot of fun on stage which made it more enjoyable. New Hope Club were as amazing as always and HRVY was brilliant too! His songs were also very catchy and he sang my favourite too - personal.

  1. Staying Up
  2. Last Night
  3. Hands
  4. Shades On (added after the Sheffield date)

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you see the boys at all this tour let me know if you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for ready, much love.

L'Oreal Infallible Foundation Stick | Review

I have always been a fan of L'Oreal and their foundations, so I was very excited to try out this new stick foundation. I made sure I did research before actually purchasing it, by watching multiple youtube videos where I could see them actually using the product as well as obviously reading the comments on the Superdrug website and the overall review in stars - 4/5 Stars.

The reviews were all great, it came so highly recommended so I finally caved and ordered it online alongside 2 lipsticks one for me and one for my mum, and a new concealer. It took about a week to arrive but I wasn't fussed because it was free delivery and it actually came on my birthday so I got to wear it out for my birthday meal.

I was first worried about the application of the product because, well as I said before I had never used one before, but it was really easy. I applied it randomly all over my face to make sure I would get an even coverage and it blended lovely with my beauty blender however when I tried to add more it didn't seem to make a difference to the coverage on my face. When I used it again I tried to apply more to my face in the first place and that worked better, but still not full coverage - I would say it was more of a medium coverage foundation.

I continued to use it for several weeks but this past week it started to go patchy when I was applying it, areas of my face would still be red and almost have no foundation on. I tried to add more and it didn't seem to make any difference, the foundation was almost rubbing itself off my face, which was extremely irritating. It started to rub off my face a lot quickly throughout the day, even after I had applied my setting spray. I started to question whether there was something wrong with my skin, like was it too dry or was it too oily? My skin was not dry and my skin gets oily throughout the day but that didn't affect the foundation. But I do think skin type does affect the application of foundation, and possibly my oily skin affected it somehow but I'm not sure how.

Overall the product was great to start off with, it blended really easily and didn't dry on my face too quickly so I was able to easily apply all my foundation at any pace. However, after 2/3 weeks of using it most days, it did go patchy and almost stop working as a foundation. I do not regret buying this product mainly because I have always wanted to try a stick foundation and think I may try one of the makeup revolution ones that everyone was hyping about at the same time!

I hope this review was helpful, I quite enjoyed doing this sort of post and I think I may start doing some more of these when I get new products and maybe not just makeup ones. Thank you for reading, it means a lot! I have missed blogging as I had to take a step back for a little bit because my school work took over but I starting to find a balance which is brilliant!
