My Movie Watchlist | Christmas 2016

It is that time again, for yet another Movie watchlist but this time In the spirit of Christmas of course!

  • Nativity 1
  • Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger
  • Arthur Christmas
  • The Muppet Christmas Carol
  • A Christmas Carol
  • Elf
  • Mean Girls
  • The Santa Clause
  • The Santa Clause 2
  • The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
  • Home Alone
  • Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
  • Polar Express
  • The Snowman
I watched my first Christmas Movie of the year last weekend when Mum and I were in the mood to watch Nativity, we started watching the 3rd one and couldn't watch anymore as it was bad (hence why I haven't listed it above) however the other 2 are the best and the 1st makes me cry. Arthur Christmas has to be one of my favourite Christmas movies along with The Santa Clause movies! If you have any recommendation leave me a comment and I'll give them a watch as I love new movies!

Hope you enjoyed this and will hopefully see you tomorrow, or the day after

FOTD | Christmas Edition

I haven't really done any make-up looks on here for a while or that were different to my usual make-up and I have been trying to change it up so pre-pair for 2 posts on make-up looks.

For this one I decided to hope on the trend of doing a Christmas make-up look that I have been wearing a lot. If I'm honest I haven't been wearing that much recently as I have run out of my favourite foundation and can't afford a new one so it will have to wait till after Christmas. If i'm honest I don't mind not wearing it at the moment as I like just wearing foundation sometimes however I have been breaking out so bad recently, which I think is due to eating a lot of chocolate so from now on I'll only been eating my advent calendar!

Let's get into the make-up look:

Maybelline New York, The Eraser Eye
Maybelline New York, Fit me!

Rimmel London, Brow this way - eyebrow kit
Rimmel London, Brow this way
Rimmel London, Stay Matte
Collection, Sheer Loose Powder
Collection, Blush
Benefit, Hoola bronzer

Nars, Illuminator
Collection, Highlight and Sculpt

Urban Decay, Naked 2 (Half baked & Bootycall)

MUA, Hall of Fame (Lion)

Maybelline, Lash sensational Mascara
Rimmel London Lasting perfection Lipstick (Shade; Red)

I have worn this a few times, but not always with the lip colour as it doesn't always work with the outfit. On the first day I wore this I got so many weird looks for wearing it but also lots of compliments, which was great
Sorry about the change in outfits and lip colour, I had tried to take a good eye picture when I'd got the lips on but it didn't turn out good so I tried again later in the day once I'd changed my jumper and lipstick and it came out good.

Hope you enjoyed this post, and I will see you on either Sunday!

November Favourites 2016

November favourites time came around so quickly, and it means it is Christmas time. If I'm honest I don't have that many favourites this month as 1) I haven't had the money to buy anything due to spending money on other people for their 18th and then obviously Christmas next month. However I do have some favourites that I thought I'd share with you.

I haven't really got any Make-up products favourites this month instead it is a shower gel. It is by Lush and is quite a popular one when it comes to this time of the year, called Snow Fairy. This is actually a bottle I got last year for Christmas but have just got round to using it and now seemed like the perfect time as they have just come into the shops. It honestly smells almost like cotton candy and has glitter inside it which makes me even more happy.

In terms of music, it is actually my Spotify playlist. It is called Central Perks. It is a variety of old school songs that I have been listening to a lot recently, ranging from things like High School Musical, Ke$ha, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Sandi Thom etc. It's kind of just the music that I listened to during the Primary School and then Secondary School. You guys should deffo give it a listen to, the playlist is public on my spotify so give it a listen if you want.

Next is YouTube, and well I have 2. The first was Kenzie's Vlogs, especially her moving ones however there were only like 3 but I have always loved her vlogs. I get so nosy when it comes to youtube, as I get to see how they have everything in their houses' in terms of decor and just inside their apartment. I mean who doesn't love a good apartment tour or whats in my bag video.
Kenzie's Vlog channel: KeepingUpWithKenzie

Next is Travel videos, I have always wanted to travel and one night whilst I was watching Remi's vlog when she was in Portland I decide I should watch more travel vloggers and then (sadly) spent my night searching for new travel vloggers to watch. I came across Hey Nadine and have fallen in love with her channel.

This favourite is a bit random but it is Pinterest. I have been obsessed with it recently, and if I am on some sort of social media it will be this. I am constantly pinning things and I have 23 boards (as I just made a new one yesterday), I'm not even ashamed. It is great to gather ideas and inspiration for so many different things ranging from room ideas, to fashion, study motivation/cute notes, hair styles and food etc.  My account is linked in my Social Media page at the top!
Finally is TV shows, and this month it is something new called Awkward. I have been watching it on amazon prime, however season 5b isn't available to watch yet so I'll have to wait. But anyways, Awkward is about a girl in her Sophomore year at High School (season 1) and he story of lovers and typical troubles she has to face in High School. I got so obsessed with it, and binge watched season 1 in one night.

Sorry about the lighting, the sun set quicker than I expected!

I hope you enjoyed this posts and I will see you either next Thursday or Sunday. As I am going to try and upload every Thursday, and maybe a sneaky one on Sunday it all depends.

10 Reasons I am EXCITED for December

I have been so excited for this post mainly because it's means I can share the reasons I am excited for December, as well Christmas is next month!. I wanted to share these 10 reasons to help get everyone in the spirit , especially for this month as last year no one was really in the mood until it was like the week of Christmas. However this year everyone is feeling super festive, I'm so excited to decorate my room soon along with the rest of the house.
So lets get into the list,
  1. Vlogmas: If you don't watch youtube then you are missing out, as most youtubers do a thing called vlogmas which is when they vlog ever day up to Christmas Day (I think, might be wrong my bad). It's a great way to spend your evenings to help you get in the sprite for Christmas.
  2. Christmas: I mean if you are excited for Christmas but that isn't the reason then who even are you!
  3. Spend time with Family: I tend to see my family quite a lot, especially the family that leaves near me, but I also get to ALL my family which is great. I love seeing my family
  4. Snow: It doesn't snow a lot in England but when it does I love it so much! Back in year 9, about 4 years ago ish, school closed for 4 days and me and my friend sat and watched all of Miranda and made snowmen in the back garden.
  5. Christmas movies: This is what me in the mood last year, along with a 2 hour festive afternoon at Sixth Form. I did a post about my favourite Christmas movies last year, and there are so many great ones along with the unpopular ones on the channel Christmas 24! It shows Christmas movies 24/7!!!
  6. Fires: Sitting by the fire, with the Christmas tree lights on, candles lit, a hot drink, Christmas movie on and Christmas PJ's is such a way to spend a Christmas evening.
  7. Festive home wear: Home wear is my favourite thing no matter what time of the year but Christmas home wear is amazing and adorable. It makes you house a lot more colourful and homely, I think anyway.
  8. Christmas Tree: It's not December or Christmas until you have put your tree up, you have to agree.
  9. My families Christmas traditions: We don't have many but the ones we do are amazing, and  well we have done them every year (that I can remember anyways). On Christmas Eve we always go out for a walk (or to the cinema, like 2 years) but then go out for a meal after at the same place, my local pub. We also alternate who hosts Christmas and Boxing Day each year, so this year we are hosting Christmas Day which will be great.
  10. Jumpers: I have never really been one for Christmas Jumpers but I love them now, just not the really tacky ones!!
I hope I have now got you guys excited for December especially as it is just around the corner, hope you have enjoyed this post and I will see you soon with another blog post!

18th Birthday Present Ideas

I am 18 next March and a lot of my friends are turning 18 soon or next year like me, some are already 18. As it is a big ish birthday in England I thought I give you all a few present Ideas, but also to help me come up with some things for my friends.
  1. Buy them something 18 related, like anything you will find in a card shop. An 18 key-ring or wine glass (as they can legally drink)
  2. Get a group of friends together and buy them either a voucher for something they will really love or a present they will really love, like make-up, a game or clothes.
  3. A cute photo frame or something similar, it is always a cute idea especially as you will all be going different ways at the end of sixth form/college.
  4. This is a little pricey, but it depends how much you spend on your friends. But this would be a good present from a few friends, and this a Polaroid camera So they can capture their favourite memories over the next years. Especially if they are going off to university, and want a load of great memories.
  5. Cards Against Humanities, it is such a great party game and just a great game to play whenever.
  6. Any alcohol, they are 18 so can legally drink so why not just get them their favourite drink so they can celebrate.
  7. Their favourite perfume or aftershave.
  8. Jelly shot mould - from prezzybox. I found these online and honestly these are such a good idea and its pretty cute, even if they did them without alcohol.
  9. Wheel of shots drinking game - from prezzybox. Again another alcohol drinking but they are 18 so can legally drink (unless your from America sorry.) but everyone loves a good drinking game and this seems great.
  10. There are a lot of different experience presents, from driving in a certain car for the day, spa weekend for two, bungee jumping etc. These would also be a great group gift.
These are a wide range of present ideas but I hope they help, even for someone who is over 18 or under (missing out the alcohol presents). But I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I will see you soon!

Everything and Anything to do with Concerts

Buying concert tickets is honestly so stressful especially when that band is relatively big and famous. Yesterday was the Pre-Sale for The Vamps and there was a whole lot of stress and panic over my twitter news feed. Everyone was panicking and stressing, what if the tickets sold out for the wow pit for their date, what if they didn't have enough money for the tickets they wanted or anything?! We were all stressing about anything and everything.

This is a strange blog post but if you love music then it is a struggle trying to buy tickets, and I wanted to share some tips and tricks with you!
  1. Be prepared in terms of money, most bands share the prices with you before so you know what to expect but also try to have more. Especially if you are buying tickets from AXS as my tickets were £49.50 but ended up coming to to £60.80 with all the extra costs. It's stupid especially as we paid for £3.00 for pre-sale as well, but oh well...
  2. Be ready early, so if the tickets go on sale at 9:00 am then be ready at 8:30 am, with everything.
  3. If there is the option to put all your details in before you get a ticket then do so, it saves so much time as your just waiting around for them to go on sale. Especially if you are in a waiting room, it means you will get your tickets quicker when they come out.
  4. Try not to stress or panic, I know that sounds crazy and sometimes we can't help it but just breathe and relax. Take your time
  5. Always double check your order before clicking 'buy now' or what ever the button says. You don't want to have accidentally ordered the wrong tickets and when they come be upset about it.
  6. This isn't really to do with buy tickets but, if the band/artist are going to another venue that is near by then go! Buy the cheapest tickets you can possibly get, along with cheap train tickets etc and go! I did this for The Vamps last year and bought some £9.50 tickets for Sheffield so me and my friend Charlie could see them. We had the best time, it wasn't as good as Nottingham as I was Wow Pit for that date but it doesn't matter about that.  I mean the tickets were £9.50 and I was just happy I got to see them again.
The actual day of the concert is the best thing, and it needs to be planned. If you're like me and like getting their early then make sure you have everything you want and need before you leave! Don't forget water, or a drink it's so important for a concert. I forgot one once and almost passed out it was not good, just be prepared.

My Experience with concerts has been great, I have been to so many different ones and they just make me so happy. It's the fact you in a arena or club with a large/small group of people who love the same band as you.

I'm such a big Fan Girl and I love watching bands grown and become bigger and bigger, but at heart I still want them to be my little secret. I guess that's the same with everyone, but watching The Vamps grow over the last 3 years has been amazing and crazy, especially as this will be their 3rd Arena tour and I'm just so proud.

That's enough I think before I get all soppy and emotional about something you guys probably don't care about! Anyways, Hope you enjoyed this little spontaneous post and I apologise for no post on Sunday but I was in Essex and got super busy

I hope you enjoyed this and I will see you on Sunday!

October Favourites 2016

It's finally November and I'm so excited for Christmas now! I'm actually currently listening to a Christmas song, well a Christmas song by All Time Low called Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass. Anyways, I'm a little late doing this but it's here and so lets get started.

The first 2 favourites are clothes, and I don't really talk about clothes mainly because I find it so difficult to find things I like that suit me, fit me and finally aren't too expensive. They are both from H&M which is great, I have recently re-found my love for H&M as i use to shop there then went off it and now my love for it is back, which is strange but anyways.  The first thing is a stripped jumper I picked up from H&M in Camden when I went there with my Dad. I'd say it's cropped but at the same time I think it's too long to be cropped, however it works really well with my next favourite and my trusty TopShop high waist joni jeans. The next favourite is a cord skirt, in black. I picked up in Derby again when I was with my Dad a while ago. I have always loved these style skirts however the denim ones never fitted me properly and looked weird on me and then I finally found this one and fell in love with!

Next is a Lipstick, and it isn't even mine it's actually my Mum's shhh. However she kept using one of my Mac one's so I think we are even! Anyway, it is again a Avon Matte Lipstick in the shade Superb Wine, which is a perfect fall colour. It goes great with the jumper and isn't to drying. I have a pink in the same style and they both last ages and look matte, instead of just looking not very shiny. Which I love, since I got my Kylie lip kit I have been obsessed with matte lipsticks.

Next is music, and this month I have been listening to Bastille non stop as I actually went to see them Live on 5th November. Which was honestly incredible, I'm so glad mum and I got tickets. We were also standing which was crazy but wow I'm so glad we did get standing because honestly you get so much more into the songs If I'm honest, like everyone is dancing so its not weird were as when your seated you can't really dance without looking crazy.

My final favourite this month is a youtuber and that is Remi! I have been watching her ever since Kenzie uploaded a video with her, which was about a month ago. I started off by watching her moving vlogs and got a little obsessed. I seem to love watching vlogs now, especially people who live in LA or America. Quite a lot of the people I watch are actually American. Anyways, Remi's channels.
Main Channel: MissRemiAshten
Vlog Channel: RemLife

I hope you enjoyed this and well, I will see you Sunday (I believe) with a new blog post!

My Movie Watch List | Halloween 2016

Happy Halloween guys! I love Halloween along with all the movies, so I thought I'd share my favourite one with you or some people have recommended to me. I haven't managed to watch all of them yet but I am in the process of doing so.
  • The Addams Family
  • Addams Family Values
  • Hotel Transylvania 1 & 2
  • Hocus Pocus
  • Casper
  • Nightmare before Christmas
  • The Witches
The Addams Family movies are honestly my favourite Halloween movies and Wednesday Addams is such an iconic Halloween outfit, I dressed up as her one year and it honestly didn't turn out too great but oh well. For my 17th birthday my friend bought me both the Hotel Transylvania movies and they are also brilliant, even to watch all year round! Well most of them are however they are obviously best fitted to watch around this time of year.

Ah well, I hope you enjoyed this lil blog post! If you guys have any more Halloween movies I'd love to know them and give them a watch before its time to watch Christmas movies. Which is so soon as I may have already changed my background on my phone from Autumn to Winter!

Mini Haul | Autumn 2016

I had a perfect blog post planned for last weekend and I was so excited to do it and then that day ended up not happening and then my laptop decided to turn off the wireless so it wouldn't connect to ANY wifi networks which annoyed me because I couldn't even do any school work. Anyways, over these past 2 weeks I did some shopping so I thought I'dd show you what I picked up.

The first thing I got, I wasn't sure about but I also wanted to try one. Which is a lose powder, I wasn't sure what brand to get if i'm honest and I could only find one in Collection. I had seen people use one but they were high end, so I went for the cheaper option. It's called; Collection Sheer loose Powder and it was £2... Which I think is great value and so far it is great, but I only got it Saturday!

Next is a Chocker, and its the typical black velvet one from TopShop. I got this as I had been looking for ages for it, and finally found it. It also goes with my new dress which I got for my friends 18th , as it is also velvet. You will see that outfit and make-up look this weekend!

Next is 2 DVD's and they are the High School Musical Trilogy which I wasn't going to order off Amazon however it was the same price in HMV so I had to get it.. I have managed to watch them yet but I have a movie night coming up with my friends so we will be watching them I think! The other one I was so excited to find as I think it has just recently actually come to DVD. It is Miranda The Finale, which is the final 2 episodes EVER of Miranda which they showed at Christmas time (I think) in 2014. Which seems ages ago but they always take a while to come out. I had recently re-watched Miranda as I have seasons 1-3 on DVD and it always makes me sad that I can't watch it all. But now I can, so Mum and I will be watching this again soon.

Next thing is a little weird but it is a jar from IKEA, but it is for putting my memories in. The one I was using, which was an old Branston Pickle jar, was getting slightly too small so I picked up a larger one from IKEA. I want to decorate it, so when I go looking for Halloween decorations I will find some for it.
The final thing a Victoria Secret spray, which I picked up from TK-Maxx for about £7.99 instead of £14.99 which I thought was good. I own 2 sprays from VS now, and the only annoying thing is that the closest one to me is either Sheffield or Birmingham. However they have opened one in Lakeside so when I go to Essex I have one near by which is great too.

So that is it for today's blog post! I'm quite excited for posts up till New Year as they are all planned out and I have some exciting things happening. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you Sunday!

My Movie Watch List, Autumn 2016

I have done a reading list and a music playlist so I thought lets do a movie watch list as I am so obsessed with movies and finding new one to watch. I tend to find lists on IMBD and stalk them, add them to my notes and gradually watch them. It's honestly great finding new movies, I have found so many great new ones from this and I want to share them with you.

This is honestly such a weird list of movies but they are so damn good, I think when it comes to Halloween I might do another post like this about my favourite movies for that time! Because honestly I just love movies, they make me laugh and smile and even cry (a lot sometimes.

A few of these films are on Netflix and Amazon Prime, if you have them if not you will be able to find them online or super cheap from somewhere like CEX (if your from the uk), HMV or even Amazon. I am constantly shopping for DVD's, if I go out shopping I tend to buy make-up or dvd's instead of clothes which I actually need.

I have linked the each of the movie's IMBD pages so you can watch the trailers for each of them. Right well that is it for this week's post, I hope you enjoyed this!

Back to School: Everyday Sixth form make up look

I thought I would do another make-up look in this little back to school series. However my make-up idea always seem to be the same as when I find something I like I tend to stick to it. So it might be a little repetitive but anyways lets get into this. I actually wear pretty much the same make-up every day, and the only thing that changes in my lipstick.

First of all I apply my Simple kind to skin, rich moisturiser all over my face but especially to my nose where I got my nose pierced as it is really dry at the moment. If you want me to do a post about my nose piercing, comment at the end! Then I apply some moisturiser also to my lips, and use the Cherry Carmex moisturising lip balm. Which I have been using for just under a month and it is brilliant!

Now to the make-up! First is my foundation, which is the MAC studio fix fluid in shade NW10. I apply this all over my face with my damp Real techniques beauty blender. Next is concealer and of course it is the Collection lasting perfection concealer in the shade fair. I use this to hide the bags under my eyes, cover and spots and to correct my eyebrows, which is the next stage. I use the Miss Sporty studio eyebrow kit in the shade medium brown. I have really light brows so the before and after photos make me laugh, but I used the wax to create the shape and fill them in and then just apply some power on the top. To set them I use Rimmel London Brow this way, brow styling gel in clear.

Once they have set it's onto powder to set my entire face, and I used the Rimmel London Stay matte long lasting pressed powder in the shade transparent. I apply this on with a 'blush' brush which I got from Primark I think. Next is one of my favourite new products and that is the Benefit Hoola bronzer, to apply this I simply use the brush it came with to contour and use my Real Techniques blush brush to blend it out and apply it around to tops of my face. For highlight I have been using my Nars Illuminator in Copacabana, I don't use a lot but I apply with a tiny damp beauty blender to blend it out. However for my Cupids bow I just use the Highlight from my collection highlight and contour kit.

Next to my eyes, I simply apply my favourite mascara which is Maybelline NY lash sensational mascara in black of course. However before applying it onto my top lashes I do curl them, with an eyelash curler which I got my Tiger I think. And finally I set everything with my Avon makeup setting spray.

Now to the lipstick and I went with the one I have been wearing today and that is my Kylie Jenner Lip Kit, in the shade Candy K. I tend to where it to school as it is quite a simple colour, not to bright or too dark. Also because it stays on really well so I only have to re-apply it once I have eaten lunch, which is great! And this is the final look!

So that is what I tend to wear when I go to sixth form, in terms of make-up! I hope you guys have enjoyed this post and I will see you Sunday!

Back to School: Lets get motivated

I have been waiting ages to actually post this, to be able to sit down to write all about getting motivated for sixth form/school.

image from: https://uk.pinterest.com//
Since I have gone back to sixth form my attitude has changed all together and I am starting to feel more happy and motivated to survive the next 2 years at sixth form! That might confuse you a little as surely I should only have one year left but no, let me explain what I'm doing quickly.  I have decided to pick up 2 subjects with the year 12's at my sixth from and continue doing my ICT as a year 13. Which I technically am but at the same time I'm a year 12. As I won't be applying for university till next year which means I have longer to prepare for it and know its defiantly the right course or path for me!

So lets talk about motivation. I realised I went about a-levels all wrong last year, like I knew the jump from GCSE to a-level was big but honestly not this big. I thought I was doing well in one of my subjects and felt so confident in terms of the exams I took for them, however they didn't turn out brilliant. But I don't want to talk about that. One of the things that has got me motivated is well changing my attitude towards everything. I started watching a youtuber, Mel Joy, and I just love the way she looks at life and is so motivated for things. She is also how I got motivated to go to the gym more and be the best version of my self. It all seems a little bit stupid when I say it like this but its true. I think I changed I realised my attitude towards work needed change.

image from: https://uk.pinterest.com/

Homework and coursework, were always the 2 things I hated about sixth form and I put them off to the last possible moment. However In the past 2 weeks I haven't got that much work but of what I've got I have done the day I got it or the following day. The quicker you get it done the more free time you have after, and it is also easier to get it done after you have just learnt it as it is fresh in your mind! I feel that if I had this attitude this time last year maybe I would have got even better grades, but that doesn't matter now.

The two images are both from pintrest and I would say if you are looking for quotes to motivate you pintrest would be a good start. Look at these 1000+ motivational quotes.

My friend just coincidentally posted a blog post called '5 quotes to live by' and it links in kind of to mine so be sure to go and read it! Jodie's Blog.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and this 'back to school' collection so far. I have one more post and then that will be it, not a lot a know but I joined it a little late and didn't get organised quick enough.

Back to School: What's in my Sixth Form Bag

Hey guys, so I have just had my first day at sixth form (I actually wrote this last week but couldn't upload because my images wouldn't download) and wanted to tell you about what was inside my bag today! I have decided to do it differently to my other post which I didn't really like it if I'm honest. So my bag was a bit of a mess today as I wasn't sure what I would need so I took what I thought would be important. So lets get started anyways.

So this is my school bag, it is from New Look and I would link it however it is over a year old so they won't have it in stock! I am also in need of a new bag but I haven't found the perfect black rucksack for the job! I am also saving money for driving lessons so a new bag will have to wait a while.

This bag just has one big section, a zip pocket along the back, which I will start with and then get to the main bit. In the zip pocket in my bag I actually keep tampons and so on. This is just in case I need them or my friends need them, TMI I know but I'm a girl ok.

Now to the main bit of my bag, so I have it packed for my first day which was yesterday and I only have I.C.T which means I don't need a folder so my bag has more space. First is my pencil case, which I think is from WHSmiths. I got it last year and it fits everything in that I need, which is;

  • fine liners
  • 4  highlighters
  • 2 4 colour pens
  • 2 black Sharpies
  • Rubber
  • Pencil
  • 30cm ruler
  • Small stapler
  • Small hole puncher
  • Memory stick
  • Pens
The majority of my pens in my pencil case are actually free pens that I got from University open days, which is one of the good things about university open days. The free stuff! Next is my 'list book', from Paperchase. I bought this when I was in Essex and I honestly use it so much. It is perfect for writing my homework and coursework down in, it is also so pretty! Next is my diary, which I picked up from Tesco and its just a simple diary, that looks very pretty! I also had a Wilko A4 ruled refill pad, which is what I use for my binders, however I didn't take one of them with me as I didn't need it.

The final things are of course my Tangle Teezzer, a Nike baseball cap, a 850 ml Smart water bottle and my Cath Kidston beauty bag which contains;

  • Extra chewing gum
  • Strepsils
  • Frosted Cranberry anti-bacterial hand gel from Bath and Body works
  • A Pen
  • Nature Valley bar, oats and honey
  • Paracetamol
  • Thin hair bobble

So that is everything in my school bag, it changes slightly each day as I might take a binder or have a text book, which doesn't happen that often but oh well. It seems kind of a lot when you look at it like this but I am organised, my friends are always like "Megan, hand sanitiser" as I always have some. However I wish I'd bought some more when I went to America but oh well. I hope you enjoyed this post and it is the first of the back to school series! I'm actually not doing that many and I wanted to do some more once I am settled back into Sixth Form, I just need to sort out all my timings now I have my timetable. However I have the 4 posts planned and I have the rest to plan for this month and the beginning of next month. I will be organised this year, and manage my time well!

August Favourites 2016

I always seem to do my favourites each month and sometimes they get pretty repetitive so I decided to only talk about a few things. However they will all be new and never been mention before on my blog, as my favourites each month seem to be pretty similar. Lets get started anyway.

When I flew out to Spain my Mum was kind enough to buy me the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which I have fallen in love with and the colour suits me so much more than the Collection highlight and contour palette. It works so well as a suitable bronzer but also for a good contour. I love the fact it comes with a little brush, which works so well for contouring all of my face! I would recommended this product 100%, especially if you are pretty pale (like me) as the colour works so well as it isn't too dark.

Next is a highlighter that I have been wearing a lot recently, this is the Nars Copacabana Illuminator. I bought it when I was in America last year, from the Sephora opposite the Hard Rock cafe. I remember I spent the whole trip saying how much I wanted to buy it and trying it on in every Sephora. However on out last day in New York I told my friend I was going to buy a Hard Rock cafe Top and if I had enough money I would then buy it for my self and well I did! I am honestly so happy I got it too, it took a while for me to get use to applying it as it is a liquid but I have finally. I apply with my fingers and then blend it in with my tiny beauty blends and then apply a thin layer of the collection highlight and it looks amazing. I honestly adore it so much, I have joined the highlight craze now a little late but oh well.

Next is an Album, which I actually bought the day before I flew home from Spain which meant with Prime it would be there when I got home! Which it was and I added it straight to my phone as soon as I could! Oh yes, the Album is Know-It-All by Alessia Cara. I was obsessed with her song 'Wild Things' for ages and then heard another song by her 'Scars to your beautiful' on Spotify and realised she had an album out. Not sure how I missed it but, well I then listen to it on holiday via Spotify and became obsessed with it all! I defiantly recommend it and if you haven't heard any of her songs, then listen to 'Here' or 'Wild Things' as they are probably her will known songs.

Second last is a youtuber and it is velvetgh0st but her vlog channel! Gabby has been vlogging a lot recently and she has just moved so she has been vlogging all of that. She has also been going out 'clubbing' or just drinking with her friends and she vlogs that too and they honestly make me laugh and smile so much. She has also just uploaded her reaction to the PLL summer finale, which I haven't watched but I am so excited to watch it when I can.
Vlog Channel: Planet Gabb

Last is a movie which I have never mentioned before as I have just found a new love for it and the actor in it. It is Legend, and it is all about The Kray twins which are gangsters. I originally watched it on prime as research almost for a school project as I am doing all about nature and nurture of crime and murders. I thought it would interesting to watch and kind of related to my work so why not! The actor Tom Hardy plays both of the twins, Reggie and Ronnie, he plays them so well. I got my dad to buy it me on DVD the other week as I'm not 18 until March. It confused me slightly when I first watched it but you have to pay attention to it completely, you can't half watch it and half play on your phone otherwise you miss loads of the story line. However it is very violent and the language is very strong which explains why it is an 18, I can't really say don't watch it if your under 18 as I am but if your under 16 or scared by certain things I wouldn't recommend it!

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed this. I have some back to school posts planned now which are exciting!

Q&A 02 | Bold Hair Colours & Teen Wolf Characters?

I haven't done a Q&A in almost a year and I wanted to do something slightly different and couldn't think of anything, however I have everything all planned out to October currently which is exciting. I asked one my 2 twitter accounts, for some questions from you guys. So lets get started.

What are your top 3 (?) make up products?
  1. Benefit Hola Bronzer
  2. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
  3. NYX soft matte creme (Shade; London)
  4. Rimmel London Lasting perfection Lipstick (Shade; Red)
I had to add the extra one to make 4 just because I love wearing red lipstick it makes me so happy, bright lipstick is what gets me excited for the sun coming out. Even though I love wearing nudes and dark purples and am very much a cold weather girl. I recently got the Benefit bronzer and I will tell you about it on Wednesday in my August Favourites, along with the NYX soft matte cream!

Did you ever get hate for supporting your favourite?
When I first became a fan account on twitter, probably not long after I made my account late 2013, I became conscious of people from school finding it because like all I did was tweet about The Vamps, The Wanted and Loveable Rogues etc. So I began to block people that I had followed from my school, I don't think they were bothered but, in other words no I have never got hate for supporting them.I think people have just got use to it know, like if the Vamps are on Tv or something my friends or family will text me. Which is super cute as they know me so well.

What's your favourite tv show?
Big Bang Theory. I bet you weren't expecting a straight answer for this however I have so many favourite tv shows but as I have BBT on dvd I am always watching it when I go to bed. I probably managed to re-watch all 8 seasons twice in a year. My family always get me the new season for Christmas so I like to make sure I have re-watched it all in time for Christmas so I can then watch the new season when I go to bed on Christmas Day. However I'm not quite sure what I will do when it ends, but they have started filming season 10 which is very exciting.

If you were to name one piece of clothing that describes you, what would it be?
I'm not really sure, I think my Red Harrington jacket.

Do you want to dye your hair any bold colour?
I have always wanted purple hair, which I kind of currently have but it's slightly ginger in place but that's my fault. Anyway I won't get into how I messed up my hair. Well I have fallen in love with blue hair, as an actor I follow on instagram just had blue hair (she recently just dyed it like silver/blue). However I think she suits any colour as in Degrassi Next Class she has pink hair which also looks amazing. My friends told me to try dying my hair blue but I'm too scared at the moment and I miss my brown hair so hopefully It will be back soon!

Argent or Sheriff?
Oh this is a hard one. If your confused this is in terms of Teen Wolf, which I am obsessed with and have been since Christmas when I first started watching it. I'm thinking Sheriff just because of Stiles and well their relationship. It honesly makes me cry, especially after watching the trailer for season 6 and to make things worse season 6 is the finally season!! :(

What's your favourite film?
Favourite film, hmm I'm going to say The Duff and Captain America (all 3)
I am a massive Marvel fan and Captain America is my favourite, because of Chris Evans but also the character is just so funny and films honestly make me smile so much. I re-watched all the Marvel films when I finished my exams and I actually cried at the first Captain America. The Duff is also my favourite film because the story line is amazing and the characters are so relatable, the end credits song is also The Vamps so that just makes me love it even more.

Thank you to the girls who sent me the questions, I hope you enjoyed this post. I actually enjoyed writing this however you don't, well I don't, really see Q&A's on blogs. Anyway I will see you next time.

Travel | Spain 2016

As a few of you may know if you follow me on twitter, I have just come back to England after being in Spain for 2 weeks with my family. It was so relaxing and enjoyable, spending the days by the pool, watching the Olympics and going out for meals in the evenings.

We stayed in a place called Moraria, which is in the middle of Valecia and Allicante along the coast. It isn't very tourist like and has no hotel's which is what we like about it. We stayed in a Villa just round the coast, in between Moraria and Calpe. Driving around the estates is quite difficult even if you know where you are going, in the light and its extremely difficult to find your way around at night! We got to the estate probably around 12am and it was very dark and we struggled to found our villa, we didn't manage to find it until after 1am. It was a rather stressful night and I couldn't wait to get some sleep.

After nearly I week of being out there some of family friend's had also flown out and were staying near Moraria so they came round and got to play in our pool and then headed out for tea. It was brilliant but playing with 2 7 year olds can get tiring. We went to the cutest restaurant which was just up the road from where we stayed. It was gorgeous and extremely cute, but the food was amazing too!! We went because apparently the paella was very nice.

This was the Paella that was shared between 6 of us, I'm not sure if you can tell in the photo but this was in the middle of the table! There is also an amazing ice-cream place called Tutto Frutto, which we visited most nights when we went out for a meal. I always have Toffee and Oreo which is so nice and the variety of ice-cream is incredible.

So that's it for this post and I hope you enjoyed this post, I wasn't really sure whether to post it or not but I'm glad I did! I have planned a results day post but it won't be posted until I am back at Sixth Form as it is going to be "Lets get motivated". It wasn't the best day ever and my results we not what I was expecting but I'm not sure what I expected in some ways.

Good luck to everyone who is getting there GCSE results!

Summer: What's in my carry on?

Hey guys, so as I am going on holiday to Spain I thought this summer I would do a 'what's in my carry on bag'. I have never actually done this or done anything like this in fact so I'm not sure how to do it and stuff. However if this goes well I will do a 'what's in my school bag' in my lil back to school series which I am trying to plan out now! Anyways, lets get started!!

The bag I am using is actually my school bag. Well I couldn't use my rucksack due to it being too big for ryaniar's bag sizes for your second bag. This is because we aren't taking a large luggage bag instead we are just taking carry on bags as it is easier for us all. Therefore we will be buying certain things out there like shampoo, conditioner and deodorant. My bag is from New Look however I did get it a while ago so I doubt they sell it anymore. It has lasted me a long time though which is great.

Next to what is actually in my bag! First is the important stuff like:
  • Passport
  • Phone
  • Headphones
  • Charger
  • Me Before You
  • Glasses case
  • Sunglasses case & sunglasses
  • Purse
  • Tangle Tezzer
  • Cath Kidston beauty bag
    • Paracetamol
    • Strepsils
    • Tissues
    • Tampon
    • Hair grips
    • Bobbles
    • Ear rings
    • Pen

So that is the contents of my bag, there isn't that much as I tried to fit as much as I can into my other bag and this is what i'll want on the plane! I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you next week for my results day post....

Summer: FOTD 2016

Hey guys, since last years 'face of the day' my make-up collection has grown and well I have learnt new things about make-up. And as it is hot, well it was hot, I have just scrapped foundation all together. Well just for summer due to the heat. Now lets get on with the look.

Due to me not wearing foundation I have had to make sure I put on my moisturiser as it has SPF 15 in. However it is only the light moisturiser as that is the only one they do with the SPF and well thats what i want it for. As I feel that when you put sun cream on your face especially it gets all sticky on your face.

Now lets start with the actual make up look:

 Collection Lasting perfection concealer

Miss Sporty Studio eyebrow kit
Rimmel London Brow this way

Rimmel London Stay matte powder
Collection Contour and Highlight palette

I used the shades Bootycall, Chopper, Suspect, Pistol and Verve.
Bootycall in the corner of my eye to highlight, Chopper all over and the other 3 under my eye.
Naked 2

Max Factor False lash effect Mascara
Maybelline NY Lash sensational mascara

Lush Bubblegum lip scrub
L'Oreal Paris 'collection exclusive by JLo'

These are also the brushes and beauty blenders I used to create this look!

This is the finished look, also if you head over to my instagram you can see what I am getting up to whilst I am on holiday as you can now post stories on instagram which I am liking even though I love snapchat! The link to my instagram is on my 'Contact me/Social Media' page
