My Everyday Make Up Routine | Spring 2017

A long awaited make up routine, which I have had written for ages but never got round to post it so today is the day! I actually love how it turned out today, and sadly I am not going anywhere as it is Easter Sunday and my mum is decorating the bathroom.

Before I even start doing my make up, I have been putting moisturiser on all the time but the new step is using my Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe herbs and rosewater before I put on my make up. The foundation I have been using, for 2 weeks I would say, is one I used when I first started wearing it in year 10. I ran out of my L'oreal one and wanted to try a different one so I resulted back to this one, as I loved it when i first got it and it has SPF in so was perfect for all the sun we were getting.

Rimmel London: Lasting Finish Foundation
Collection: Lasting Perfection Concealer

Rimmel London: Brow This Way - Brow Sculpting Kit
Rimmel London: Brow This Way - Brow Styling Gel

Rimmel: London Stay Matte
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Collection Blush

For my eyes I have added something new, instead of just mascara and highlight. I have added in the factor of bronzer to add some definition and colour to my eyes. Mixing the bronzer with the highlight, from the Nars illuminator and Naked 2 pallete it looks great and has become new go to look.

Nars Illuminator
Urban Decay: Naked 2, Bootycall
Maybelline NY: Lash Sensational Mascara
Smashbox Mascara: Full Exposure

Before I the lipstick, I spray my face with the facial spray and then the setting spray to keep everything in place. The facial Spray can be used as as so many different things, on the bottle it says "Use it to set makeup, soothe your skin in dehydrating conditions, or to give your skin a quick boost anytime, anywhere."

Rimmel London: Matte lipstick - Trendsetter
Avon Setting Spray
Mario Badescu Facial Spray

So this is the final look! I took my glasses off for the photo's so you can see the look better and because the reflection on them drives me insane. The lighting was great from the windows but you could see them in the glasses, if you wear glasses you will understand this struggle too.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post!

Mini Haul | Autumn 2016

I had a perfect blog post planned for last weekend and I was so excited to do it and then that day ended up not happening and then my laptop decided to turn off the wireless so it wouldn't connect to ANY wifi networks which annoyed me because I couldn't even do any school work. Anyways, over these past 2 weeks I did some shopping so I thought I'dd show you what I picked up.

The first thing I got, I wasn't sure about but I also wanted to try one. Which is a lose powder, I wasn't sure what brand to get if i'm honest and I could only find one in Collection. I had seen people use one but they were high end, so I went for the cheaper option. It's called; Collection Sheer loose Powder and it was £2... Which I think is great value and so far it is great, but I only got it Saturday!

Next is a Chocker, and its the typical black velvet one from TopShop. I got this as I had been looking for ages for it, and finally found it. It also goes with my new dress which I got for my friends 18th , as it is also velvet. You will see that outfit and make-up look this weekend!

Next is 2 DVD's and they are the High School Musical Trilogy which I wasn't going to order off Amazon however it was the same price in HMV so I had to get it.. I have managed to watch them yet but I have a movie night coming up with my friends so we will be watching them I think! The other one I was so excited to find as I think it has just recently actually come to DVD. It is Miranda The Finale, which is the final 2 episodes EVER of Miranda which they showed at Christmas time (I think) in 2014. Which seems ages ago but they always take a while to come out. I had recently re-watched Miranda as I have seasons 1-3 on DVD and it always makes me sad that I can't watch it all. But now I can, so Mum and I will be watching this again soon.

Next thing is a little weird but it is a jar from IKEA, but it is for putting my memories in. The one I was using, which was an old Branston Pickle jar, was getting slightly too small so I picked up a larger one from IKEA. I want to decorate it, so when I go looking for Halloween decorations I will find some for it.
The final thing a Victoria Secret spray, which I picked up from TK-Maxx for about £7.99 instead of £14.99 which I thought was good. I own 2 sprays from VS now, and the only annoying thing is that the closest one to me is either Sheffield or Birmingham. However they have opened one in Lakeside so when I go to Essex I have one near by which is great too.

So that is it for today's blog post! I'm quite excited for posts up till New Year as they are all planned out and I have some exciting things happening. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you Sunday!

Back to School: Everyday Sixth form make up look

I thought I would do another make-up look in this little back to school series. However my make-up idea always seem to be the same as when I find something I like I tend to stick to it. So it might be a little repetitive but anyways lets get into this. I actually wear pretty much the same make-up every day, and the only thing that changes in my lipstick.

First of all I apply my Simple kind to skin, rich moisturiser all over my face but especially to my nose where I got my nose pierced as it is really dry at the moment. If you want me to do a post about my nose piercing, comment at the end! Then I apply some moisturiser also to my lips, and use the Cherry Carmex moisturising lip balm. Which I have been using for just under a month and it is brilliant!

Now to the make-up! First is my foundation, which is the MAC studio fix fluid in shade NW10. I apply this all over my face with my damp Real techniques beauty blender. Next is concealer and of course it is the Collection lasting perfection concealer in the shade fair. I use this to hide the bags under my eyes, cover and spots and to correct my eyebrows, which is the next stage. I use the Miss Sporty studio eyebrow kit in the shade medium brown. I have really light brows so the before and after photos make me laugh, but I used the wax to create the shape and fill them in and then just apply some power on the top. To set them I use Rimmel London Brow this way, brow styling gel in clear.

Once they have set it's onto powder to set my entire face, and I used the Rimmel London Stay matte long lasting pressed powder in the shade transparent. I apply this on with a 'blush' brush which I got from Primark I think. Next is one of my favourite new products and that is the Benefit Hoola bronzer, to apply this I simply use the brush it came with to contour and use my Real Techniques blush brush to blend it out and apply it around to tops of my face. For highlight I have been using my Nars Illuminator in Copacabana, I don't use a lot but I apply with a tiny damp beauty blender to blend it out. However for my Cupids bow I just use the Highlight from my collection highlight and contour kit.

Next to my eyes, I simply apply my favourite mascara which is Maybelline NY lash sensational mascara in black of course. However before applying it onto my top lashes I do curl them, with an eyelash curler which I got my Tiger I think. And finally I set everything with my Avon makeup setting spray.

Now to the lipstick and I went with the one I have been wearing today and that is my Kylie Jenner Lip Kit, in the shade Candy K. I tend to where it to school as it is quite a simple colour, not to bright or too dark. Also because it stays on really well so I only have to re-apply it once I have eaten lunch, which is great! And this is the final look!

So that is what I tend to wear when I go to sixth form, in terms of make-up! I hope you guys have enjoyed this post and I will see you Sunday!

Summer: FOTD 2016

Hey guys, since last years 'face of the day' my make-up collection has grown and well I have learnt new things about make-up. And as it is hot, well it was hot, I have just scrapped foundation all together. Well just for summer due to the heat. Now lets get on with the look.

Due to me not wearing foundation I have had to make sure I put on my moisturiser as it has SPF 15 in. However it is only the light moisturiser as that is the only one they do with the SPF and well thats what i want it for. As I feel that when you put sun cream on your face especially it gets all sticky on your face.

Now lets start with the actual make up look:

 Collection Lasting perfection concealer

Miss Sporty Studio eyebrow kit
Rimmel London Brow this way

Rimmel London Stay matte powder
Collection Contour and Highlight palette

I used the shades Bootycall, Chopper, Suspect, Pistol and Verve.
Bootycall in the corner of my eye to highlight, Chopper all over and the other 3 under my eye.
Naked 2

Max Factor False lash effect Mascara
Maybelline NY Lash sensational mascara

Lush Bubblegum lip scrub
L'Oreal Paris 'collection exclusive by JLo'

These are also the brushes and beauty blenders I used to create this look!

This is the finished look, also if you head over to my instagram you can see what I am getting up to whilst I am on holiday as you can now post stories on instagram which I am liking even though I love snapchat! The link to my instagram is on my 'Contact me/Social Media' page
